Get your name and your groundbreaking idea in front of the people who can help make it a reality. Submissions for the listed categories will be accepted. Any student or Rotaract member aged 18-24 may participate, regardless of field of study.

Submission Guidelines:

There are no limits to the number of submissions per participant, so feel free to submit as many entries as you desire. Submit your article digitally via the contest portal

All submissions must be original works by the entrant and cannot infringe on the rights of any third party.

Submission Categories

Participants may submit concepts in one, two, or all of the categories. Multiple submissions are allowed. Please choose the category that best describes the core function of your proposed solution.

Submission Requirements: The 500-Word Concept

This is your mission. This is your chance to shine. Every student is invited to enter and submit your groundbreaking ideas.We  are looking for the compelling, future-defining concepts that will demonstrate your capacity for genuine leadership and meaningful impact on the world stage. Get creative—we cannot wait to see the future you design!

Your submission must be an innovative, actionable concept for a technology-driven solution. It must be written as a structured, persuasive proposal and adhere strictly to the 500-word limit . Your concept should be structured into the four sections below, answering the corresponding questions clearly.

Section Title Focus & Required Content Approximate Word Count
1. The Problem (Max 100 words) What specific problem, peace/conflict issue will your solution address? Clearly define a real-world problem (e.g., local polarization, spread of hate speech, logistical challenge in a post-conflict zone). Why is this problem critical for peace? 75-100
2. The Solution (Max 200 words) Describe your concept and its core mechanism. Specify the technology you will use (AI, AI+Robotics, or Robotics Only). Explain how it works to solve the problem. (If Robotics, clearly describe the physical component and its control method.) Name your solution. 175-200
3. Implementation & Impact (Max 150 words) How would you practically build and deploy this?Describe the target user group (who benefits) and the environment it would operate in. Crucially, outline the measurable positive impact this solution would have on peace and connection. 125-150
4. Ethical Consideration (Max 50 words) What is the greatest risk of your solution, and how will you mitigate it? Address a key challenge (e.g., bias in data, data privacy, physical safety, potential for misuse) and provide a one-sentence plan for human oversight or mitigation. 40-50

Ensure each submission includes your name, contact information, and the title of the work. You have to complete an individual form and registration $15.00 & $10.00 admin fee (nonrefundable) for each entry you choose to submit.
