Prof. Dr. Franco Brenna is one of Italy’s most distinguished figures in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, internationally recognized for his contributions as a clinician, professor, author, and leader in the dental profession. He was selected for the Ambassador Roundtable in recognition of his decades of achievement and his influence on the advancement of contemporary European dentistry.

Based in Como, Italy, Dr. Brenna has built a distinguished career combining advanced clinical practice with university teaching, scientific research, and international education. He has served as Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Insubria and as President of the Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry (AIC). He has been an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) since 1996, is a founding member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED), and is a member of the American Academy of Operative Dentistry.

Dr. Brenna is especially known for his expertise in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, adhesive techniques, composite restorations, dental trauma, and the preservation of natural teeth. He has authored more than 55 scientific publications in national and international journals and served as scientific coordinator and editor of the comprehensive reference book Restorative Dentistry: Treatment Procedures and Future Prospects. He has also lectured extensively at major dental congresses and advanced professional courses in Italy and internationally.
