OUR SOCIAL IMPACT PROGRAMS
DIPLOMATS FOR KIDS
Our Signature Program: Diplomats for Kids empowers young people by opening doors to the world of diplomacy, international affairs, and global business. Through meaningful engagement with diplomats, international leaders, and professionals, participants gain the knowledge, confidence, and global perspective needed to become tomorrow’s changemakers.
Your support helps provide life-changing educational experiences, mentorship opportunities, and access to networks that many young people would otherwise never have. Together with the diplomatic community we inspire the next generation of leaders to build a more peaceful, prosperous, and connected world.
AMERICAN RED CROSS
As part of our Social Responsibility Program, we proudly announce our partnership with the The American Red Cross. Dedicated to aiding the wounded and alleviating human suffering, the Red Cross upholds life, health, and human respect globally. Committed to neutrality and independence, it avoids political or ideological controversies. This voluntary movement operates one society per country, promoting equality and cooperation worldwide. The Los Angeles Region supports nearly 10 million people across 88 cities in Los Angeles County, as well as Inyo, Mono, and parts of Kern Counties.
INTERNATIONAL SUPPORT AGAINST HUMAN TRAFFICKING
Human trafficking is a $32 billion per year industry in the US, involving the transport or trade of people for work. UN reports estimated about 2.5 million people globally were trapped in human trafficking. People from all backgrounds are trafficked; men often for hard labor, children for labor in textiles, agriculture, and fishing, and women and girls for the commercial sex industry and sexual exploitation. The Ambassadorial Roundtable andmembers of the diplomatic community collaborate with nonprofit organizations and strategic partners to support efforts to prevent human trafficking, protect survivors, and raise awareness of this global human rights challenge. Together, we are committed to advancing partnerships that promote dignity, justice, and freedom for vulnerable communities.
