Prof. Dr. Franco Brenna is one of Italy’s most distinguished figures in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, internationally recognized for his contributions as a clinician, professor, author, and leader in the dental profession. He was selected for the Ambassador Roundtable in recognition of his decades of achievement and his influence on the advancement of contemporary European dentistry.

Based in Como, Italy, Dr. Brenna has built a distinguished career combining advanced clinical practice with university teaching, scientific research, and international education. He has served as Professor of Restorative Dentistry at the University of Insubria and as President of the Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry (AIC). He has been an active member of the European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED) since 1996, is a founding member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (IAED), and is a member of the American Academy of Operative Dentistry.

Dr. Brenna is especially known for his expertise in restorative and aesthetic dentistry, adhesive techniques, composite restorations, dental trauma, and the preservation of natural teeth. He has authored more than 55 scientific publications in national and international journals and served as scientific coordinator and editor of the comprehensive reference book Restorative Dentistry: Treatment Procedures and Future Prospects. Jorge E. Silva Enciso, MD, is a distinguished cardiologist and Director of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Program at UC San Diego Health, specializing in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, advanced heart failure, and heart transplantation. His work represents the intersection of advanced cardiovascular medicine, prevention, and healthy longevity, with a focus on identifying and treating complex heart conditions before they compromise long-term health and quality of life. Through precision diagnostics, innovative therapies, and individualized patient care, Dr. Silva Enciso is helping advance a new era of cardiovascular medicine—one focused not only on treating heart disease, but on preserving heart function, extending healthspan, and enabling people to live longer, healthier lives.

Advances in the treatment of hypertrophic obstructive cardiomyopathy (HOCM) are transforming care for patients with this complex genetic heart condition. Specialized centers now combine advanced cardiac imaging and genetic evaluation with individualized medical therapies, including newer cardiac myosin inhibitors, as well as established medications and, when appropriate, septal reduction procedures. Dr. Florian Rader, MD is the Medical Director of the Hypertension Center of Excellence, Co-Director of the Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy Center, and Associate Director of the Noninvasive Laboratory at Cedars-Sinai Smidt Heart Institute. He ranks as Associate Professor at Cedars-Sinai and UCLA. Dr. Rader graduated from medical school at the University of Vienna, Austria. He completed the Physician Scientist Program at Case Western Reserve University, MetroHealth Campus and Cleveland Clinic. His clinical and research interests focus on new treatment options for hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and novel device-based treatment options for hypertension and valvular heart disease. He has published over 120 manuscripts focusing on Hypertrophic Cardiomyopathy, hypertension, and valvular heart disease and is principal investigator on several ongoing past in these areas.
