G20 Brazil 2024 Summit - Global Donor Platform for Rural Development

The G20 brings together the countries with the largest economies in the world. The member states meet annually to discuss economic, political and social initiatives. The group defines itself as the main forum for international economic cooperation (agreement reached by the leaders at the Pittsburgh Summit in September 2009.

The G20 Summit is a meeting between the Heads of State or Government of member countries. The participating countries are Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Republic of Korea, Republic of South Africa, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, United Kingdom and the United States of America, African Union and European Union. In addition, invited guest countries and international organizations participate in the G20.

The Ambassadorial Roundtable will be hosting a roundtable discussion focused on soft power and cultural diplomacy in Rio de Janeiro November 18th 2024. By invitation only.

The G7 Summit was held in Borgo Egnazia, in Apulia, on June 13-15, 2024. The event brought together the Leaders of the seven member States, as well as the President of the European Council and the President of the European Commission representing the European Union.

With the G7 Summit in the picturesque, serene, uniquely aesthetic, architecturally beautiful, calm, and sophisticated Borgo Egnazia in Puglia, Italy in the rearview mirror, all eyes are on the trepidant, frantic, turbulent, and historic Washington D.C., where the 75th NATO Summit starts tomorrow. Thirty-two world leaders, along with many senior officials, foreign ministers, defense ministers, and cabinet officials from NATO partners, will return to the birthplace of one of the most powerful international alliances to celebrate its 75th anniversary.

Rubis du Gilet was the four-legged hero of the ‘Grand Prix BMW’ among the trotters and Adrian von Gunten was victorious with Mombasa in the Skikjöring at the ‘Grand Prix Credit Suisse’.

The Ambassadorial Roundtable honored the Swiss Red Cross and celebrated its 150th Anniversary with an elegant, star studded, extravagant gala at Badrutt's Palace Hotel in St. Moritz, Switzerland. 350 invited dignitaries and international guests donated over 830,000 Francs for water projects in developing countries.

MEET US IN ST. MORITZ!

WHITE TURF FEBRUARY 28th, 2014

Each year the Ambassadorial Roundtable covers 5 INTERNATIONAL TOP EVENTS. 2014 was kicked off by ”White Turf St. Moritz” the premier snow event in Switzerland where thoroughbred horses are towing snow skiers . This Engadine sport, was discovered in 1923 and remains unique to the region. Many flirted with idea of promoting the sport and including it as an Olympic discipline, however, although imitated and adapted in many alpine countries, skikjoring in its original form has only established itself in the place where it originated, the Engadine valley in Switzerland. Nowhere else in the world do thoroughbred horses regularly compete without riders on their backs but instead with skiers in tow.
